Tova
Tova is the owner and founder of EVOLVE and has worked for over 20 years as a hairstylist in top salons in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle. She is a certified Organic Color Systems colorist and has advanced training in cutting with Aveda and Vidal Sasoon.
From 1980-1990, Tova worked at one of New York City's top ten salons (Pierre Michel) then located in Trump Tower and enjoyed working on some editorials for Cosmo Magazine and some runway fashion shows for assorted designers. After moving to Seattle in 1990, she returned to hairstyling at one of the first Aveda salons in Seattle, which at the time was a leading company in natural haircare.
Driven by her passion for holistic living and truly organic products, in March 2010 Tova opened EVOLVE. A passionate host, Tova enjoys working with her colleagues to bring the most pure, high quality organic hair products, local and fair trade retail and art to EVOLVE. She has also been referred to as a Hairapist, Hair Shaiman or Hair Whisperer by some grateful and adoring clients. Tova is also a musician and a painter.
Jeska
Jeska is a Seattle based hairstylist specializing in organic haircolor and hair extensions. She graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2009 and worked as a fashion photo stylist her first year out of school. Her work has also appeared in the Seattle DList magazine. Her studies have taken her to London, Las Vegas, California and all over the Northwest.
Her bright and friendly attitude are a great compliment to her talents and skills. Jeska says, “I believe in natural beauty. When I see hair I ask, Is this realistic? Who would wear that? And, is it reasonable with their lifestyle?” She encourages her clients to challenge themselves and try new things. She loves creative color and giving people haircuts that work for their face, hair and lifestyle. In her free time she enjoys paddle boarding, traveling and music.
